Netto exists as two companies: the yellow Netto (formerly the Supermarkets Plus with the yellow company sign and red framed lettering. Under Netto it says “Marken-Discount”. And then there is the black Netto (with the dog in the logo).

The black Netto (with a dog in the logo) is a Danish company, founded in 1981. The chain has a little over 300 stores in Germany. In addition to Denmark, these Netto stores can also be found in Poland, Great Britain and Sweden. The yellow Netto is much more widespread as a chain: about 4,280 stores can be found in Germany. The company was founded in 1928 as a food retailer in Regensburg.

The gluten-free pasta is from the brand Albhof and consists of corn flour (9%) and chickpea flour (1.4%). The range includes spirelli and as spaghetti. 500 g cost € 1.29. The pasta may contain egg and soy.

Gluten-free "world champion rolls" bought at Netto

The gluten-free buns are from Kornmühle. There are gluten-free “baker’s rolls” and gluten-free “world champion rolls”. The package contains four rolls each, which still need to be baked for 7-9 minutes. A 240 g pack costs €2.49. The rolls are vegan. Please note that prices may vary in the coming months.
